Who reduces prices on real estate faster: realtors or individual sellers?

During a joint seminar of the GAMES research group and research and training group “Empirical demand estimation”, Evgeniy Ozhegov, lecturer of HSE-Perm's School of Economics and Finance, presented a study focused on sellers’ behaviour on the secondary real estate market. The project is at the final stage: the author needed a feedback from colleagues before the publication of an article.

HSE Perm Holds International Conference on Applied Research in Economics

HSE Perm has hosted the third International Conference on Applied Research in Economics, or iCARE, which saw the participation of scholars from 12 countries representing 21 different organizations ranging from universities and research centres to central banks and consulting firms. Opening iCARE were the head of the conference’s programme committee Dr Dmitri Vinogradov (University of Essex) and HSE Perm Deputy Director Dmitriy Potapov.

Academics from all over the world will meet on August 25th - 27th at the HSE campus in Perm for an international research seminar The Humanities in Russia and the Break of 1917: the Existential Dimension.30 researchers from Belarus, Bulgaria, Germany, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Russia, the USA, Uzbekistan and Ukraine will be taking part.

Marina Sheveleva receives Fulbright grant

Associate Professor in HSE Perm’s Foreign Languages Department, Marina Sheveleva has been named a finalist in the Fulbright Faculty Development Program competition. She will spend six months living and working at Montclair Public Research University (US).
