‘The Advantages of HSE University’s Master’s Programmes Lie in the Extraordinary Diversity of What the University Has to Offer’
While studying in HSE University’s master’s programmes, students receive an education that is developed with an eye towards specific professional markets, they can pursue research tracks, and they can even design their own individual curricula that incorporate coursework and expertise different programmes. Katie Kassam (Durham University, UK) spent the past spring semester studying Russian language and history at HSE University, Perm as part of the programme ‘Perm Term’. This programme was first organized by HSE in 2019 in cooperation with the School of Modern Languages and Cultures of Durham University. A year ago four students from the UK shared their experience. This year Katie arrived alone in February, but had to return home in March due to pandemic and continue her studies remotely.
HSE became the leader of this ranking for the first time, outperforming Moscow State University, the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, and other Russian universities. Universities were assessed on the basis of three indicators, Quality of Education, Quality of Graduates and the ‘Forbes Factor’.
In the event of unfavorable conditions or border closures due to the pandemic, HSE University will be organizing online learning with mandatory support from professors for newly enrolled international students. To do this, the University has all the required infrastructure.
Students from more than 150 countries can now receive tuition fee discounts for HSE's English-taught online Master of Data Science programme conducted entirely on Coursera international elearning platform. Admissions are open until December 6.
