HSE - Perm's preparatory programme in Russian as a Foreign Language has admitted a new cohort of students. The supplemental programme helps foreign students who intend to apply to Russian universities gain proficiency in Russian. Students study grammar, phonetics, reading, speaking, and writing over the course of their studies. The new cohort is the fourth group of students to join the programme in what is now the programme's third admissions season.
HSE University is pleased to announce the launch of Class Experience, a programme designed for international students who are interested in learning more about master’s studies at HSE University. Katie Kassam (Durham University, UK) spent the past spring semester studying Russian language and history at HSE University, Perm as part of the programme ‘Perm Term’. This programme was first organized by HSE in 2019 in cooperation with the School of Modern Languages and Cultures of Durham University. A year ago four students from the UK shared their experience. This year Katie arrived alone in February, but had to return home in March due to pandemic and continue her studies remotely.
HSE became the leader of this ranking for the first time, outperforming Moscow State University, the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, and other Russian universities. Universities were assessed on the basis of three indicators, Quality of Education, Quality of Graduates and the ‘Forbes Factor’.
In the event of unfavorable conditions or border closures due to the pandemic, HSE University will be organizing online learning with mandatory support from professors for newly enrolled international students. To do this, the University has all the required infrastructure.
