HSE students submitted 701 applications for participation in international mobility programs  during the spring semester of 2017. 177 of them started to study abroad this fall. Eugenia Nelyubina (LUISS Guido Carli University, Rome), a second-year student of the master's program in Marketing at HSE-Perm, talks about how to become a member of the international mobility program.

In the quarterfinal round “Urals Subregional Contest” which took place in Yekaterinburg the team was awarded a diploma and the right to participate in semi-final round of the World Programming Championship ACM ICPC 2017.

In the middle of October UN Environment held a workshop “Revision of the Sustainable Public Procurement Implementation Guidelines”. Elena Shadrina, Associate Professor of the HSE-Perm’s School of Management, took part in the workshop as an expert.

On its 25^th anniversary, the Higher School of Economics (HSE) took 25^th place in the QS EECA (Emerging Europe & Central Asia) Ranking, thus improving its result by 10 positions as compared with last year. This ranking includes 300 positions and takes into account higher education institutions in transitional European and Central Asian countries.

Sheila, PhD student from Durham university, talks about her work in the State archive of Perm region, her passion to Russian culture and things in Perm that were a welcome surprise to her.

HSE-Perm will hold free-of-charge international Olympiad competitions for high school students.

24^th International Conference on Teaching, Education and Learning (ICTEL) took place at the Imperial College London on 12-13 September. HSE-Perm was represented by Ekaterina Zagorodnova, Dean of the Part-Time Education Faculty of Economics and Management, Associate Professor of the School of Management.

The 2017 Biennial World Communication Association conference took place from 2^nd to 6^th of August in the American University of Central Asia (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan). HSE-Perm was represented by academics from the School of Foreign Languages.
