HSE Makes It onto Forbes University Ranking
For the first time ever, Forbes (Russia) has published its own ranking of the best universities in Russia. One of the main objectives of the ranking was to determine which universities produce talented young entrepreneurs, including those capable of making it onto Forbes’ main ranking in the future or becoming part of Russia’s political elite. HSE placed 10th in the ranking.
HSE Among Top 40 in QS Young University Ranking
The Higher School of Economics ranked 38th in the QS ranking of young universities, up from 48th last year.
HSE the Only Russian University in THE Young Universities Ranking
The HSE has climbed to 84th position in the Young Universities Times Higher Education Ranking. The ranking assesses universities that were founded less than 50 years ago according to methodology used in the main THE ranking, which is published in autumn.

of students and graduates of HSE Moscow are satisfied with the quality of their education. At HSE Perm, this figure is even higher, standing at 84%. These are the results of a survey of students and graduates of leading Russian universities, conducted by Changellenge>> . HSE’s Perm and Moscow campuses took second and third place, respectively, in the ‘satisfaction with the quality of education’ category.
Andrea Gullotta From University of Glasgow Visited HSE-Perm
In mid-April Andrea Gullotta, professor of the University of Glasgow, came to Perm. Dr. Gullotta’s research interests are literature of GULAG prisoners and also the history and culture of Russia.
