Eco-friendly Public Procurement Discussed at HSE Perm
The 2nd international research seminar ‘Public-Private Interaction: Design and Deliberation’ has been held at the HSE campus in Perm. It addressed issues relating to public procurement, public-private partnership (PPP), NGOs and social entrepreneurship. There was also a roundtable discussion on eco-friendly public procurement.

The first meeting of IDSchool
12 October was the first day of IDSchool - a new project of IDLab. Under this project, Lab’s members want to show students the essence of researchers’ work, to acquaint them with the scope of the Lab’s research and engage them in the Lab’s projects. IDSchool will allow the students of HSE Perm to work with foreign professors, get professors’ comments and suggestions on their projects, and gain experience of working in the successful research team.

Robots Will Change the Job Market to Our Benefit
Will robots eventually make people jobless? That ‘s an issue that has recently been under a lot of discussions with some publications predicting that around 40% of jobs will disappear in the nearest decade due to the advent of technology. But is the future indeed so gloomy? Sir Christoper Pissarides, 2010 Nobel Prize winner, Regius Professor of Economics at LSE, disagrees. In his honorary lecture at HSE ICEF Prof Pissarides discussed various issues concerning the future of work and employment in the age of robots.
