Kenneth Wang at HSE Perm
Kenneth T. Wang, Associate Professor of Psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary and an expert in management and education psychology, recently visited HSE in Perm to deliver a series of seminars for HSE students, lecturers, and researchers.
The seminars were devoted to international publications, and topics featured the study of perfectionism and psychological well-being, quantitative research methods, the process of peer review and publication in international journals, and consulting sessions based on participants’ questions.
Professor Wang also held a seminar for students in the Bachelor’s programme in Management. After the event, he noted how impressed he was by the students’ serious attitude toward study and by the proficiency of lecturers.
The event was organized by Marina Sheveleva and Tatyana Permyakova, both of whom are staff members of the School of Foreign Languages.
Kenneth Wang’s research interests include the psychology of education, personality psychology, psychometric measurement, management, cross-cultural competence, international students, and campus internationalization. Over the past 10 years, he has published more than 40 papers in leading journals; he has also repeatedly served as a speaker, moderator and organizer at conferences. Professor Wang is a reviewer and holds positions on editorial boards for several journals, belongs to the APA and NAFSA, among other professional organizations, and is the recipient of a number of professional honorary awards and grants. He is also a licensed clinical psychologist with his own practice.
