HSE Continues its Ascent in QS World University Rankings by Subject
The latest results of the QS World University Rankings by Subject demonstrate that Russian universities are continuing to make great strides in international rankings. Among the Russian universities that made the rankings, HSE tops the list with 16 specific subjects and 3 broad subject areas entering the rankings. Compared to last year, HSE has improved its performance in almost all subjects.
How to Participate in the International Academic Mobility Programmes? The Outcomes of the Master Class
Master class on the topic of the international academic mobility was held on February 21 at the HSE Perm. The opportunity to apply for a programme is provided only twice a year: in September and in February. Until March 10, master and bachelor students can submit an application for a mobility programme and spend the autumn semester 2019 abroad. During the master class students had the opportunity to talk with the experts and to go over the details.
HSE Perm Holds Three-day School on Business Administration for Senior High School Students
From February 8-10, high school students (ranging from 9-11th grades) were invited to HSE to participate in master classes, solve business cases, learn more about modern marketing, HR, logistics, entrepreneurship, and strategy.
HSE Moves Up 10 Points in THE Emerging Economies Rankings
HSE University has taken 22nd place in THE Emerging Economies Rankings, improving its position from last year. This ranking includes a total of 35 Russian universities, with 18 of them participating in the 5-100 Project.

The KEOD 2018 conference was held between September 18th and 21st at the University of Seville (Spain) as part of the joint IC3K conference on knowledge engineering and ontology development. HSE Joins Two THE Subject Rankings - in Computer Science and Engineering & Technology
For the first time ever, HSE University has entered two THE subject rankings: in Computer Science (in the 301–400 group)and Engineering & Technology (in the 601-800 group). Therefore, HSE has confirmed once again that it is much more than just a specialized social sciences and humanities university, but rather a comprehensive multidisciplinary university, which has become successful in new, innovative areas of natural sciences and engineering.
