In 2016 we attempted a review of the outgoing academic year. Please see the big interview with Galina Volodina, campus director, about the most important issues for the university. But since then a lot has happened and a lot has been achieved. So, what else will we remember from 2016?

HSE has been implementing LMS (Learning Management System) — an electronic system of education process support – for several years. A new service, called ‘Student Electronic Portfolio’ (StEP), which is based on LMS and gathers information about students’ achievements in various fields has been developed by the Administrative Staff Development Programme project group. 

Nominations of candidates for the Golden HSE Awards open on November 21, 2016. This year, the contest has undergone major changes. There are now more nominations, they are a little different, and there’s even a new prize!

Thadeu Gasparetto, a graduate of the University of Vigo (Spain) who studies sports economics, recently joined the HSE  International Laboratory of Intangible-driven Economy.  During a recent visit to Perm, he spoke about his research plans and shared his impressions of HSE students and staff members.

Galina Volodina, Director of the HSE Campus in Perm, spoke about the results of this year of studies and research.

Elena Shakina, Head of the International Laboratory of Intangible-driven Economy defended her PhD dissertation at the University of Vigo in Spain.

The representatives of the US education system from Washington, California, North Carolina, Ohio, and Pima County visited Perm in the framework of the Fulbright exchange programme. During the visit the delegation held a meeting at HSE Perm campus.

Director of Strategy at the Mildberry branding agency, Anna Kosheleva is an alumni of the Marketing programme at HSE Perm. The agency began to study the Chinese market in 2012 and opened offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
