Each year HSE holds the Student Project Contest, which allows projects deemed important for the development of the university at least and all of society at most to receive financial, organisational, or any other type of support to help them succeed.

Charity Week at HSE Perm
The following events were held during the recent HSE Perm charity week: three charity visits, ten workshops, a charity photo session, a cinema night, clothing and food fair, a charity concert, a round table on volunteering, and a series of online auctions.
Project of HSE Students in Shortlist of Eventiada Awards 2016
The ‘History of the homeland in a new information dimension’ project by HSE Perm students has been included in the shortlist for the International Contest of Student and Corporate Communications Projects Eventiada Awards 2016.
The first meeting of IDSchool
12 October was the first day of IDSchool - a new project of IDLab. Under this project, Lab’s members want to show students the essence of researchers’ work, to acquaint them with the scope of the Lab’s research and engage them in the Lab’s projects. IDSchool will allow the students of HSE Perm to work with foreign professors, get professors’ comments and suggestions on their projects, and gain experience of working in the successful research team.
Ekaterina Oparina Accepted for Economics PhD
Ekaterina Oparina, Research Assistant at the Centre for Private-Public Interactions at HSE’s Perm campus, has been accepted to the PhD in Economics programme at the University of Surrey (UK).
Archaeological Internship with Oxford Students Underway
Second-year students on the History BA programme at HSE Perm have gone on an archaeological expedition as part of their internship. This year, HSE students have joined geology students from Oxford University on an excavation at Mokinski burial grounds.
HSE Perm Student Took Part in TMSA Summer School
Irina Shalyaeva, a first-year student of the Master’s programme 'Information Analytics in Enterprise Management' took part in the fifth international summer school ‘Theory and Methods of Exponential Random Graph Modeling’ (TMSA-2016). She shared her impressions of the event and the participants.
HSE Students Attend International Conference in Bulgaria
Students and lecturers on the MA programme 'Information Analytics in Enterprise Management' presented their projects at ITA 2016 Summer Session (International Conference ‘Information Technologies and Software Engineering’) that was held in Varna, Bulgaria. The reports will be published in international journals issued by ITHEA.
