"Russian as a Foreign Language": "Choosing HSE perm makes me feel at home because the teachers and coordinators here really care about every student"
A new enrollment for an additional educational programme for the preparation of foreign citizens was held at the HSE Perm. The programme "Russian as a Foreign Language" is targeted at foreign applicants from far abroad who are going to enter Russian universities. Throughout the programme, students will master grammar, learn to perceive Russian speech phonetically and will be able to read, speak and write in Russian. This is the third intake and the fourth group of listeners at the HSE Perm.
5 students of the Faculty of Economics, Management and Business Informatics of the HSE University's Perm Campus and one student of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities have been successfully selected for international academic mobility programmmes for the spring semester of 2019-2020. They spoke on how they decided to apply for students exchange and shared their expectations about their upcoming studies at European universities.

The 'Russian as a Foreign Language' programme is designed to prepare international students for studies at Russian universities. In the programme, students gain proficiency in Russian grammar, listening, reading, writing, and speaking.

The Youth, Peace, and Security (YPS) project from 3 to 14 June 2019 at Columbia University is pleased to announce the YPS Leadership program, designed to advance the work of youth leaders around the world by creating joint efforts between practitioners on the ground and research, theory, and practice from the academy.
Forty Russian participants ages 18-20 will learn more about environmental sustainability, gain exposure to successful youth-led environmental and community service projects, and examine the topics of community engagement and citizen participation.
