‘Residents’ Attitudes as the Basis for Place Marketing Development’

Aleksandra Sazhina (Khamadieva), Lecturer in the School of Management at the HSE Campus in Perm, presented the interim results of her dissertation research at the 2nd International Winter School of the NES Center for the Study of Diversity and Social Interactions. The school was devoted to ‘The Impact of Cultural and Social Diversity in Economic Development’.

Aleksandra Sazhina (Khamadieva), Lecturer in the School of Management at the HSE Campus in Perm, presented the interim results of her dissertation research at the 2nd International Winter School of the NES Center for the Study of Diversity and Social Interactions. The school was devoted to ‘The Impact of Cultural and Social Diversity in Economic Development’.

Speaking as head of the winter school was Shlomo Weber, Professor of Economics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Israel). Internationally known professors also read lectures, including T. Gerber (USA), J. F. Platteau (Belgium), J. Esteban (Spain) and others. Discussions in classes focused on issues related to the impact of migration, social diversity and social conflicts on the economic development of countries in the modern world.

At one of the scientific seminars of the school, Aleksandra Sazhina presented the interim results of her dissertation research on ‘Residents' Attitudes as the Basis for Place Marketing Development’. The work generated a lively discussion among participants, and the author received valuable guidance for developing her research.
