On June 4th, the Laboratory’s international leading research fellows attended the defense of HSE-Perm Bachelor’s theses. The professors noted the high level of the theses presented. They were especially impressed with the tools used by the students as well as the students’ language skills. Did you know that not all American Bachelor’s students write term papers and even graduation theses? For them, their graduation means successful completion of all the courses they chose.
Also one of the Laboratory’s team members, Marina Oskolkova, presented her paper which focuses on portfolio forming decisions based on IC indicators. The presentation stirred a lively debate, which allowed the participants to identify possible future areas of research. It was followed by another presentation – that of the ID Platform project.
The HSE-Perm Center for Applied Economics and the ID Lab have been jointly developing a platform which should provide stock market investors with IC indicators that could help them make decisions which shares to pick for their portfolio.
