Course Syllabus

Abstract

The discipline is aimed at studying the main issues of crime investigation methods. The purpose of the course is to form a set of students ' knowledge about the meaning , content and practice of applying the legal rules governing these issues, and to instill the skills necessary for professional performance of official tasks when working as a lawyer. The course includes both a theoretical block aimed at studying the issues of criminalistic characteristics of certain types of crimes and methods of investigation, and a practical one aimed at solving practical cases.

  • the formation of the basic theoretical knowledge, the general systemic understanding of the forensic science, its basic concepts and categories
  • the training students to obtain competencies related to the use of the forensic tools and methods in law enforcement activities for the detection and investigation of crimes implemented in criminal proceedings.

  • Holds the tactics of the investigation inspection
  • Knows the basic concept of the subject, system, methods of criminology, characterizes the main forensic teachings about criminal activity of trace formation, forensic technology.
  • Knows the General provisions of forensic tactics.
  • Knows the methods of investigation of murders, owns the methods of investigation of crimes in the field of economic activity.
  • Organization of crime investigation, version promotion, planning.
  • Owns the technique of forensic photography and video recording, forensic tracology, forensic weapons science.
  • Tactics of interrogation, search, presentation for identification. Tactics of investigative experiment and verification of evidence on the spot.
