Hasselt University Professor Emeritus Jeanne Schreurs Gives Course «E-Business»
The course “E-Business” will be delivered in English, which will allow the HSE-Perm students to practice their foreign language skills in e-business. In this course, the students will become familiar with e-business strategies that students learn at the Hasselt University.
This week 4th year students of the Business Informatics Faculty started taking a course in E-Business given by a visiting professor Jeanne Schreurs .
Jeanne Schreurs is Professor Emeritus in Business Informatics of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, the Business Informatics Department of the Hasselt University in Belgium. (http://www.uhasselt.be/en).
The course “E-Business” will be delivered in English, which will allow the HSE-Perm students to practice their foreign language skills in e-business. In this course, the students will become familiar with e-business strategies that students learn at the Hasselt University.
The practical part of the course will look at E-learning issues and some Perm companies and organizations and their readiness to actively introduce E-learning. Jeanne Schreurs says that use of E-learning technologies provides a cutting edge advantage, for instance, a company conserves on travel costs. In addition, once an e-course is developed, it can support the company future activities and help new employees find out about the work process in which they will be involved.
