Econometrics on an International Level


Anastasiya Bozhya-Volya, Senior Research Fellow at HSE Perm’s >Centre for Private-Public Interactions, took part in the 11th Advanced Summer School in Economics and Econometrics, held at the University of Crete, Greece.

The 11th Advanced Summer School looked at ‘Nonlinear Cross-Section and Panel Regression Models with Focus on Count Data,’ and included both workshops and lectures. Colin Cameron, Professor of Econometrics, University of California-Davis, who has published a number of books on the application of econometric methods to microeconomics in the programmes Stata and R, attended the Summer School as Distinguished Guest Professor and gave lectures.

Anastasiya Bozhya-Volya said that participation in the School gave her the opportunity to meet colleagues from Western and Eastern Europe, to discuss different views and opinions, to get new friends, and establish professional contacts.
