US Delegation Visits HSE Perm
The representatives of the US education system from Washington, California, North Carolina, Ohio, and Pima County visited Perm in the framework of the Fulbright exchange programme. During the visit the delegation held a meeting at HSE Perm campus.
Representatives of the following community colleges took part in the event: Lakeland (Kirtland, Ohio), Solano (Oakland, California), Pima (Tucson, Arizona), Evergreen Valley (San Jose, California). The delegates shared their experience and learned about the system of education at HSE Perm. Andrew Riess, Assistant Director of the Council for International Exchange of Scholars of the Fulbright Scholar Programme, headed the delegation.
During the meeting the participants discussed the issues of higher education in the Perm region, the system of education at the Higher School of Economics, and other topics. The delegates spoke about the features of the educational process in the US and about the proportion of theory and practice in the educational process in colleges.
