Lecturers of the HSE Campus in Perm Receive Letters of Appreciation from the Cambridge English Language Assessment Programme

The Cambridge English Language Assessment Programme has sent letters of appreciation to lecturers and managers of the Business English Centre at HSE in Perm in recognition of their teaching talent and professionalism in preparing candidates for BEC certificate exams.

The Business English Centre at HSE in Perm has been preparing candidates for BEC (Business English Certificate) exams since 2002. Candidates who study at the Centre have successfully passed examinations at a variety of levels.

The general level of candidate’s language proficiency is improving every year. Since 2010, they have been taking the BEC HIGHER exam, which is the highest level in the BEC system. It confirms an advanced level of language proficiency.

In 2008, the Cambridge Examination Council certified the Business English Centre at HSE in Perm to train students for international Cambridge language examinations.

In 2011, the Centre was nominated as Cambridge Examination Preparation Centre, and in 2012 received the status of Cambridge ESOL Preparation Centre.

The Centre’s instructors deliver high quality training and use an integrated approach that combines functional and communicative methods. Teaching is focused on contemporary English language. All instructors of the Centre have TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) certificates.
