I International Conference on Ancient History: “Deformations and Crises of Ancient Civil Communities”, September 2–4, 2014
The Higher School of Economics − Perm and the Group for Historical Research will hold the first International Conference on Ancient History under the title “Deformations and Crises of Ancient Civil Communities”. The Conference will be held from 2nd to 4th September, 2014 at the Higher School of Economics, Perm, with antiquity scholars from Russia and the United Kingdom.

The Conference will be held from 2nd to 4th September, 2014 at the Higher School of Economics, Perm, with antiquity scholars from Russia and the United Kingdom.
The conference aims to analyse some of the problems which arose in the ancient cities of the Greek world and in Rome as well as to present the results of the latest research and theoretical investigations in that field. To give wider publicity to the Group’s work, the papers presented at this conference will be published, in English, by a European publisher. The working language of the conference is English.
