The event was hosted by the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics in Minsk from February, 20-22, 2014, and sponsored by the Russian Association of Artificial Intelligence and top IT companies specializing in intelligent system design and development.

OSTIS-2014 was dedicated to the ninetieth birthday of Viktor Martynov, a well-known specialist in the semantic representation of knowledge. Thus, the conference focused mainly on issues concerning this topic.

HSE Perm students made three presentations at the conference. Roman Nesterov, a third-year student, was granted an award for his presentation “The Development of a Smart Service for Analyzing Offers on the Real Estate Market”.
