In addition to this, on December 10, Elena spoke at a research seminar on ‘Petro Rents, Political Institutions, and Hidden Wealth: Evidence from Bank Deposits in Tax Havens’, and on December 12 she gave a masterclass on ‘Microeconomics in Western Universities: from Beginners to Advanced. An Overview and Some Methodological Aspects’.
Elena Paltseva is a Research Fellow at the Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics, Stockholm School of Economics, and Visiting Assistant Professor at the New Economic School. Her research interests include political economics, applied microeconomics, industrial organization, and public economics. She has taught microeconomics at the New Economic School (Moscow) and The University of Copenhagen (Denmark).
