Marina Sheveleva and Elena Kostareva Spoke at The “Cross-cultural Communication Strategies in the Modern World: Language, Education and Culture” Conference

On 7 and 8 December 2018, Marina Sheveleva, head of the School of Foreign Languages, and Associate Professor Elena Kostareva took part in the 4th International Conference “Cross-cultural Communication Strategies in the Modern World: Language, Education and Culture”.

Marina Sheveleva presented a report entitled “Perfectionism as a predictor of language anxiety among university students” in the section on “Models of language education in a university”.

Elena Kostareva presented her report “Cognitive study of the Northern Ireland conflict on the material of media and artistic discourse” in the “Cognitive studies in linguistics” section.

The topics presented in the reports were enthusiastically received by the audience, and led to a lively discussion.
