Exchange Students from Europe and Asia at HSE Perm: First Impressions
In 2019 HSE Perm launched two international mobility programmes for hosting students from foreign universities. Exchange students from Tajikistan and the UK will spend the spring semester in Perm.
Winners and Awardees of the Student Conference iTELL – 2019
The Department of Foreign Languages of the Higher School of Economics—Perm held an annual interdisciplinary student conference iTELL on February 27. Participants presented more than 30 reports and shared their research results.
HSE Takes 6th Place in New ‘Expert’ Ranking of Entrepreneurial Universities
The new ranking of entrepreneurial universities published for the first time by the ‘Expert’ analytical centre features 38 Russian universities, 16 of which are participants in the Project 5-100. HSE took 6th place among Russian universities and 2nd place (after MIPT) among participants in the Project 5-100.
Dean Fantazzini at HSE Perm
On September 19-22, Dean Fantazzini, Associate Professor, Deputy Head of Moscow School of Economics, Moscow State University’s Chair of Econometrics and Mathematical Methods in Economics, visited HSE Perm. This visit was organized by Agata Lozinskaia, Associate Professor of the School of Economics and Finance, and was aimed at developing research cooperation and enriching educational programmes.

Effective Development Strategy Helps HSE Climb in THE World University Ranking
HSE has once again climbed the THE World University Ranking and entered the 301 – 350 range, taking 3rd place in Russia after MSU (199) and MIPT (251-300). HSE first appeared in this ranking two years ago and every subsequent year the university has consistently improved its standing.
HSE Maintains Position in Top-300 of QS Graduate Employability Rankings
The QS Graduate Employability Rankings has published a list of the Top-500 universities in the world in terms of graduate employability outcomes and prospects.
HSE Ranks 7th in THE Ranking of Leading Research Universities in Eurasia
HSE has ranked 7th amongst universities in Eurasia. The ranking has been compiled for the first time by Times Higher Education and is presented by Kazan Federal University.
HSE Enters ARWU Ranking for the First Time
The Higher School of Economics has entered the Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) for the first time. The ranking is known for its strict selection criteria. This year, 12 Russian universities, including 10 participants of Project 5-100, entered the ranking. Until 2016, only 2 representatives of Russia were included- MSU and St. Petersburg State University.
HSE Among Top 40 in QS Young University Ranking
The Higher School of Economics ranked 38th in the QS ranking of young universities, up from 48th last year.
