Bachelor’s Programme 'Economics'

This programme prepares highly-qualified researchers and analysts, who are prepared to work in financial and IT firms, as well as companies operating in the real sectors of the economy. First and second year students acquire fundamental knowledge of economics and finance, gain a deep understanding of statistics, mathematics and modeling of social and economic processes, while also perfecting their project skills. The curriculum of senior courses includes a wide range of applied disciplines. 

The programme’s vast array of options allows students to shape their own career trajectories. For instance, involving students in the projects of HSE research laboratories’ enables them to continue their education in prestigious graduate programmes and pursue academic careers. The range of applied specializations and involvement in applicable business, finance or banking projects gives students the chance to apply their accumulated analytical abilities in a chosen industry.
