The final team competitions of the World Programming Championship ICPC-2022 among students in the Northern Eurasian region NERC were held at the same time in Almaty, Barnaul, Kutaisi, and Saint Petersburg. The first-year students of the educational programme "IT System Development for Business" Valeria Belash, Alisa Dolnykova, and Kirill Talan took part in the competitions.

HSE University has announced the winners of the Project Competition in Basic Science Research for Intercampus Departments. The competition, which the university is organising for the first time, will provide funding to 10 research teams working on five topics. Four of the winning projects will be implemented by new research departments formed as a result of the competition.

Viktor Durov, a second-year student of the Master's programme in Digital Humanities and an employee of the Department of Pedagogics and Humanities at Voronezh State Medical University named after N. N. Burdenko, has developed an interactive virtual tour around the Museum of Space Biology and Medicine named after V. V. Antipin in Voronezh.

The representatives from all the HSE campuses, as well as the representatives from Petrozavodsk State University, attended the symposium "Corpus Linguistics and Academic Discourse Research:  HSE University Experience”. The scientists shared the results of their research in the field of academic discourse study and discussed current problems and possibilities of using corpora at foreign language seminars. The symposium was organized by the School of Foreign Languages at HSE Perm.

HSE University is among the winners of the All-Russia Effective Education competition and was named Online University of the Year by the expert jury. The competition receives more than 150 applications a year from major education business players and HR industry leaders.
