Estimation of effects of transport accessibility on housing prices

Sidorovih Aleksandra delivered a report on "Estimation of effects of transport accessibility on housing prices" on January, 28.

Annotation:
Investigation of the real estate market is of interest because the impact of transport accessibility on the housing prices may be dual depending on the remoteness of the home from the bus stop. Empirical studies show that the influence of transport accessibility on housing prices is mostly non-linear. The paper discusses the main tool to assess the impact of various factors on housing prices - the simplest hedonic price model. Attention is also paid to studies that evaluate the impact of transport accessibility simultaneously with other factors, such as the the average income of the territory and the development of pedestrian areas.
