HSE Educational Programmes Receive State Accreditation
All full degree programmes, implemented at four HSE University campuses, received state accreditation for the next six years. The positive conclusions of experts and representatives of expert organizations have been published on the Rosobrnadzor website.
The accreditation review was conducted from March 16 to April 22. During the first week, the accreditation committees worked full-time at HSE’s campuses in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Perm and Nizhny Novgorod, after which they analyzed relevant documents remotely for a month. HSE University was one of the last Russian universities where experts worked full-time. At the end of March, accreditation reviews of universities were discontinued due to the pandemic.
‘HSE University began preparing for accreditation in September 2019. Our lecturers and programme offices did everything necessary: they prepared and audited a large volume of educational programme documents. Traditionally, Russian universities prepare countless documents when they undergo accreditation procedures, but we managed to submit them in electronic form. Digital educational and methodological materials helped us to rapidly transition to a distance learning format,’ says Anna Korovko, HSE Senior Director for Full Degree Programmes.
The experts evaluated the quality of the University’s academic disciplines, employees, and the results of student and faculty and staff surveys about their satisfaction with the degree programmes. Senior students were also tested for residual knowledge remotely.

It is natural that all of our bachelor's, specialist's, master's and doctoral programmes received positive expert assessments. With these results, HSE has received state accreditation in all areas of training for the next 6 years.
