Course Syllabus

Abstract

Literature of Great Britain:The discipline Literature of Great Britain (taught in English) aims at:- discussing the literary process in Britain in the context of historical, cultural, linguistic and stylistic changes and influences;- developing critical thinking, reading and writing;- developing the ability for long-term (self) learning and the application of acquired knowledge and skills in professional, academic and interpersonal communication. The course introduces students to all stages of the development of literature in Great Britain, from the ancient period to the literature of the 21st century, and their main characteristics. Prerequisites: Practical Course of the English Language: Grammar, Phonetics, Practice of Oral and Written Speech
