Opportunities for Students

• Participation in research projects using real markets and companies data;
• Writing a course work or graduation thesis under the guidance of the group members;
• Receiving advice on your research from the group members

Every September we hold a Project Fair which gives our students an opportunity to familiarize themselves with current projects and sign up for course works or graduation theses. (Please see the link for information on how it was done in 2014 and the presentation how to make a good empirical research).

We are open to students of all programs who are interested in our projects and who are ready to read in English and to use quantitative methods!

Useful information for students:

In 2014 a research group consisting of students, graduates and faculty members named 'Empirical Demand Estimation' was created where students, together with the group members, study the demand in different areas of economics. Throughout the academic year reading seminars took place where the group members studied top articles in different industries: power generation, microfinance, retail. The materials of seminars can be found here, the articles are available on HSE media resources subscription.
