Recommendations for Preventing the Spread of Coronavirus
In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, HSE University students who are currently in China can receive an individual online learning curriculum up to March 2, 2020.
Students currently in China are advised to resume their studies on campus after March 2, 2020, upon informing their programme managers. Students who have already returned from trips to China may continue their studies in their home programmes under medical observation for 14 days after arrival. These measures have been introduced in accordance with the Russian Ministry of Education and Science Order No. 146 of January 29, 2020.
HSE University teachers and students are advised to avoid traveling to China until March 1, 2020. If you have regular fever/cold symptoms, contact a doctor immediately:
- Russian citizens – call a doctor from your local clinic using your compulsory or voluntary medical insurance programme;
- Foreign citizens – contact a doctor using your medical insurance policy (if you don’t have a policy, see here to find out how to buy one);
- In case of emergency, both Russian and international citizens can call Russia’s emergency line: call 03 from landlines or 112 from mobile phones;
- Check in at a first-aid station at HSE University (please note that the station at Pokrovka is now pending its license, and there is a nurse on duty in the building).
