Course Syllabus

Abstract

Within this research seminar, students are given the opportunity to delve into the contemporary areas of research within economics and corporate finance, whilst also studying the tools utilized within these fields. The course serves to introduce students to the main models used in analyzing causal relationships in economics and corporate finance, through the examination of articles published in esteemed international peer-reviewed journals. The main objective of this course is to cultivate a passion for research amongst students, whilst also developing their analytical abilities and critical thinking skills through the process of self-setting a research problem, data analysis, interpretation of results, and further discussion. It is expected that students have successfully completed courses in financial management and possess a basic understanding of data analysis in R, as well as familiarity with the fundamentals of econometrics.

Тема исследования должна быть связана с экономикой или корпоративными финансами и сфокусирована на России. Исследование, предлагаемое в проекте, должно быть реализуемым.
