'Studying at HSE Perm is comfortable and pleasant': foreign students from Iraq told about their homeland
Students of the 1st year of the Master's programme 'Project Management: Project Analysis, Investments, and Implementation Technologies' Al-Musawi Zainulabdeen Alaa Majeed (Zain), Al-Hilfi Ali Hasanain Jaber (Ali) and Al-Kinani Ahmed Abbas Dhahir (Ahmed) shared the national culture and traditions of their homeland - Iraq.
I made a short video about Iraq in which I tried to provide as much information about my country as possible. Together with Ali and Ahmed we told about the geographical, historical and cultural features of Iraq, the Iraqi economy, the oil industry and the tourism opportunities. Our story was accompanied by Iraqi music photographs and the Iraqi folklore.
I would like to thank Dmitriy Kashin for the help with the presentation, as well as all foreign students and our friends from HSE-Perm who came to the meeting. After the presentation we had a wonderful talk with the audience, answered all the questions and even taught them to write a few words in Arabic.
We still are not fluent enough in Russian but students, teachers and the International Office help us with it. I find it comfortable and pleasant to study at HSE Perm!

Also at the meeting students discussed current issues related to medical care, studying and upcoming extracurricular activities. The next event is the “Battle of Cuisines”, which will be held on November 12th. Students from different countries and regions will cook their national dishes and let everyone taste them.
Foreign students of HSE Perm will be glad to see everyone to introduce their traditional cuisine!
