Visa and Registration Extension

STEP 1 You apply for a student single-entry visa in your home country consulate	STEP 2 You apply for a registration right after your arrival to Russia	STEP 3 You apply for a multiple-entry visa 60 days before your first visa expires

MULTIPLE-ENTRY VISA:

replaces your single-entry visa	allows you to re-enter the country multiple times	is given only for the duration of your study period at HSE University	cannot be valid for longer than 1 year	must be submitted 60 days prior to expiration of your single-entry visa

Multiple-entry visa becomes valid straight after the day your single-entry visa expires. If you need to leave Russia before your single-entry visa expires, you can return to Russia only via obtaining a new invitation and applying for a new single-entry visa in your country of residence.

Documents to be prepared by a student:

• copies of passport pages with stamps, marks and previous visas
• migration card original + copy
• registration slip original + copy (tear-off registration notice)
• 1 photo 3сm*4сm (color)
• visa extension fee payment
• visa application form

International Office supports you along all the multiple-entry visa issue process. When your multiple-entry visa is issued, you will be invited by Ekaterina A. Korneva to the International Office to bring your passport.

Your registration extension is done the next day affter issuing your multiple-entry visa.

When: no later than 30 calendar days before your current registration runs out. You can extend the registration for up to 1 year starting from the date of your arrival.
If you continue your studies further, you will need to extend your registration accordingly.
