Tatyana M. Permyakova,
Professor

Both Marina Sheveleva and I took part in the Fulbright Academic and Scientific Exchange Programme (USA), so we have a comprehensive idea of internationalization in American universities.

The competition was intense, it was preceded by serious preparatory work since November 2020 – a series of webinars, pitch sessions, a project fair, exchange of experience and discussion of best practices. When the organizers summed up the preliminary results, our chances of success were no higher than 23%. But we did it and were among the 7 winners of the US-Russia University Virtual Partnership competition.

Our project will contribute to the internationalization of HSE, its integration into the global educational space, the exchange of innovative methods of virtual collaboration, the joint development of educational courses and programmes for students, and the professional development of teachers.
