HSE University was able to place high on the Graduate Employability Ranking (201-250), outpacing its main competitors for the first time in five years. This year, the number of candidates to the ranking was increased 15% (758 universities), with new 36 universities joining the list.
HSE’s annual student research paper competition has begun accepting applications for the 2019 cycle. The competition is open not only to students of HSE University but to students of any university, both in Russia and abroad. You can submit research papers in Russian or in English. The latest results of the QS World University Rankings by Subject demonstrate that Russian universities are continuing to make great strides in international rankings. Among the Russian universities that made the rankings, HSE tops the list with 16 specific subjects and 3 broad subject areas entering the rankings. Compared to last year, HSE has improved its performance in almost all subjects.
How to Participate in the International Academic Mobility Programmes? The Outcomes of the Master Class
Master class on the topic of the international academic mobility was held on February 21 at the HSE Perm. The opportunity to apply for a programme is provided only twice a year: in September and in February. Until March 10, master and bachelor students can submit an application for a mobility programme and spend the autumn semester 2019 abroad. During the master class students had the opportunity to talk with the experts and to go over the details.
For the second year in a row, the QS Ranking Agency has published its Business Masters Rankings. A total of three Russian universities appeared on this ranking (HSE University, St Petersburg State University, and Ural Federal University) in four areas of business education. Last year, only two Russian universities were on the ranking.
For the first time ever, Forbes (Russia) has published its own ranking of the best universities in Russia. One of the main objectives of the ranking was to determine which universities produce talented young entrepreneurs, including those capable of making it onto Forbes’ main ranking in the future or becoming part of Russia’s political elite. HSE placed 10th in the ranking.
