Between October 1st and 3rd, two professors from the University of Valladolid (Spain), Fernando Tejerina Gaite and Felix Lopez Iturriaga, delivered lectures for 1st and 2nd year Master’s students in Finance.

Fernando Tejerina Gaite delivered lectures on ‘Financial derivatives’. He told students about real options and models for their pricing. Felix Lopez Iturriaga, a specialist in corporate finance and corporate governance, focused on the financial decisions made by companies in developed and developing markets (‘Corporate finance in an international framework: confronting theory to practice’).

In addition to this, the professors held a series of masterclasses at the International Laboratory of Intangible-driven Economy, where they presented their research into corporate governance of  companies. Students working with the ID-lab and conducting research into finance had an unique opportunity to speak to the professors and get valuable comments and advice from them on further potential development of their own research work.
